A clear and transparent framework

I take ethical responsibility seriously. Clarity around the nature and limits of this work is essential for trust and safety.

Scope of my work

I am a holistic somatic therapeutic practitioner, not a registered clinical psychotherapist, psychologist, or medical professional.

This means:

  • I do not diagnose or treat mental illness

  • I do not provide medical advice

  • I do not prescribe medication

  • I do not offer crisis or emergency support

My work is non-clinical and oriented toward self-understanding, integration, and embodied change.

Who I Work With

I work with adults who are looking to take responsibility for their inner lives and choices.

This work is not suitable for people who are currently experiencing:

  • Acute psychosis

  • Severe dissociation

  • Active suicidal ideation

  • Untreated bipolar disorder

  • Situations requiring immediate clinical or psychiatric intervention

If it becomes clear that additional or alternative support would be more appropriate, I will say so and encourage referral elsewhere.

Breathwork and Somatic Practices

Breathwork, movement, and somatic exploration can bring emotional and physical material into awareness.

For this reason:

  • All practices are invitational and adapted to the individual

  • You are free to pause, stop, or decline any process at any time

  • There is no expectation to push beyond what feels manageable

  • Safety, pacing, and integration take priority over intensity

I may ask about relevant physical or psychological history before engaging in certain practices.

Confidentiality

What you share in sessions is treated as confidential, with the following exceptions:

  • If there is a serious risk of harm to yourself or others

  • If disclosure is required by law

If confidentiality ever needs to be broken, I will seek to discuss this with you whenever possible.

Responsibility and agency

While I bring experience, attention, and care to the work, responsibility for change remains yours.

This work does not offer guarantees or outcomes. It offers a space in which understanding, choice, and transformation may become possible.
